The City of Angels witnessed citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-game World Series championship. Fans across the globe united with local residents in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage depict countless of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
